Sephiroth Mono Black by user7827344

Format: Commander

Commander: Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats deck uses Sephiroth as a repeatable death-and-draw engine, and is built around the back face, Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel, rather than the front. The front side turns creature fodder into cards and drains when fodder dies; the back side earns an emblem that drains on every death and lets attacks convert any number of creatures into cards. The main plan is to sacrifice recursive skeletons and token generators, triggering Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, and other death payoffs. Secondary paths include grinding with Grave Pact effects and assembling the Pitiless Plunderer + Open the Graves + Reassembling Skeleton + Viscera Seer loop for infinite death triggers. There is no hidden commander; the deck is commander-assisted but not entirely reliant on Sephiroth.
