Deck overview

This Bant deck leverages Peter Parker // Amazing Spider-Man to cheat massive legendary spells into play using the web-slinging mechanic. In the early turns, the deck deploys 1-mana dorks and casts Peter Parker, who brings along a 2/1 Spider creature token. Once transformed into Amazing Spider-Man, any tapped creature—whether attacking or tapped for mana—can be returned to hand to cast powerful multi-colored legendary cards for a flat cost of {G}{W}{U}. This rapid mana cheat enables early deployment of game-warping bombs like Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines, Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Myojin of Blooming Dawn, and The Sixth Doctor. The deck draws extensive cards off legendary cast triggers and creature-bounce synergies while defending its lead with comprehensive protection spells and one-sided legendary wipes. Opponents are locked out of enter-the-battlefield value and overwhelmed by high-stature legendary attackers.
