Deck overview

This mono-black deck leverages Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel at the helm of an aggressive aristocrats and edict-attrition strategy. The primary game plan revolves around deploying cheap, self-recurring creatures such as Reassembling Skeleton, Bloodsoaked Champion, and Forsaken Miner, which fuel Sephiroth's attack triggers for consistent card advantage and life drain. The deck controls opposing battlefields through dense edict effects from creatures like Accursed Marauder and Fleshbag Marauder. Chaining multiple creature deaths in a single turn transforms Sephiroth into his One-Winged Angel form, granting a permanent, unremovable Super Nova emblem that turns every subsequent creature death into lethal table-wide drain. Late-game haymakers like Bolas's Citadel, Massacre Wurm, and Rise of the Dark Realms compound this pressure, while an infinite drain loop via Exquisite Blood and Enduring Tenacity provides an instant finish.
