Commander: Imodane, the Pyrohammer

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This mono-red burn deck is built around Imodane, the Pyrohammer, transforming single-target removal into a multiplayer finisher. The primary game plan is to cast Imodane, establish a reusable creature to target (like Brash Taunter or even Imodane herself), and then fire off high-damage instants and sorceries at that creature. Each such spell triggers Imodane, dealing its damage to every opponent - a single Spire Barrage with six Mountains becomes 18 damage spread across three opponents. The deck amplifies this with damage doublers (Fire Servant, Mechanized Warfare), spell-copying effects (Zada, Hedron Grinder, Radiate) that multiply triggers, and recursion engines (Return the Past, Sorceress's Schemes) to reuse key burn spells. Extra combat creatures like Combat Celebrant and Lightning Runner provide supplementary beats but are not the core win condition. The deck is extremely linear, fragile, and slow, relying entirely on its commander to convert burn into a win.
