Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Orzhov Aristocrats and token attrition strategy commanded by Kambal, Profiteering Mayor. The game plan revolves around generating an overwhelming flurry of creature and artifact tokens while converting every game action into table-wide life drain. Kambal mirrors opposing token creation and punishes every token that enters under your control, turning opposing Treasures, Clues, and creatures into direct damage. Supported by low-cost ramp, top-tier black tutors, and suffocating asymmetric taxes like Blind Obedience and Charismatic Conqueror, the deck smoothly transitions into dominant mid-game engines. The primary win condition leverages Tombstone Stairwell, which triggers explosive token creation and sacrifice on every player's turn, stacking dozens of drain triggers from Kambal, Mirkwood Bats, Corpse Knight, and Blood Artist to incinerate all three opponents simultaneously across a single turn cycle.
