Deck overview

This Boros deck executes a tribal aggro strategy centered on Angels and extra combat steps led by Aurelia, the Warleader. In the opening turns, the deck develops flying beaters and mana enablers such as Giada, Font of Hope, Bishop of Wings, Youthful Valkyrie, and Starnheim Aspirant. Once an aerial formation is established, resolving Aurelia on Turn 6 immediately triggers two combat phases in a single turn, untapping the entire board to push overwhelming aerial combat damage. Supporting lords like Lyra Dawnbringer and Righteous Valkyrie provide massive power boosts and life totals, while cards like Gratuitous Violence and Legion Loyalty scale damage output into table-ending lethality. The deck relies on resilient indestructible effects like Boros Charm and Flawless Maneuver to weather sweepers, though its low land count and limited raw card draw demand careful mulligans to ensure consistent mana development into the midgame.
