40 life 4 cards and a Dream CEDH (duplicated from doomgloomy) by Gr_Ku

Commander: Rowan, Scion of War

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

This is a high-speed black-red combo deck built around Rowan, Scion of War. The primary plan is to pay life through painlands, fetches, rituals, cycling, and phyrexian mana, then activate Rowan so every black and/or red spell becomes essentially free. A single Searing Touch with buyback becomes a deterministic loop that deals infinite damage once Rowan's discount reaches five. The deck has deep tutor and draw redundancy, plus K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth as a hidden second engine that converts life into black mana. Fast ritual mana puts Rowan on the battlefield early; free interaction and discard protect the combo. Alternative ritual-copy lines using Reiterate, Jeska's Will, and Storm-Kiln Artist provide a backup win if Searing Touch is unavailable.
