The Chaos of Goldblum by TheOtherTravis

Format: Commander

Commander: Ian Malcolm, Chaotician

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ian Malcolm, Chaotician leads a group-draw/chaos build that weaponizes the "second card drawn each turn" trigger. The forced-draw package - Howling Mine, Kami of the Crescent Moon, Temple Bell, Mikokoro, Center of the Sea, Jace Beleren, Otherworld Atlas, Folio of Fancies, and a wheel suite in Wheel of Fate, Day's Undoing, and Winds of Change - means every player's second draw exiles a castable top card. Ian then turns the table's own draw steps into a free-cast engine, and mana of any type makes those exiled spells playable. The payoffs are the Paradox creatures (Flaming Tyrannosaurus, Memory Worm, Iraxxa, Empress of Mars), Spider-Verse, The Twelfth Doctor, and Vivi Ornitier, alongside independent cast-from-exile outlets: Neera, Wild Mage, Party Thrasher, Etali, Primal Storm, Wildfire Devils, and River Song's Diary. Wins come incrementally - Paradox pings, Nin, the Pain Artist flinging a grown dinosaur, an Etali snowball, or milling the table with Folio of Fancies backed by Vivi Ornitier/Electro, Assaulting Battery mana.
