Deck overview

This deck is a classic Mardu Aggro-Cheat build centered around Kaalia of the Vast. The core strategy deploys early mana acceleration to cast Kaalia on Turn 3, then attacks on Turn 4 to cheat massive Angels, Demons, and Dragons directly onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. With 27 high-impact targets, the deck consistently lands game-altering threats that dominate the board. A standout interaction is Master of Cruelties, which can instantly eliminate an unblocked opponent on Turn 4 when cheated into combat alongside Kaalia. Supporting creatures like Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, and Archfiend of Depravity apply overwhelming airborne pressure, while Ruinous Ultimatum provides an asymmetric reset. The deck's primary limitations stem from heavy reliance on Kaalia as an engine, vulnerability to spot removal before combat, and minimal stack interaction.
