Betor Loss is Gain by Onizuka0701

Format: Commander

Commander: Betor, Ancestor's Voice

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Betor, Ancestor's Voice is a lifegain counters deck that uses lifelink attackers to gain life and grow the board. Betor acts as a repeatable end-step engine, putting +1/+1 counters equal to life gained on another creature and reanimating a creature equal to life lost. The deck wins by building large lifelink boards with Archangel of Thune, Lathiel, and Branching Evolution effects, then attacking. Angel of Destiny provides an alternate life-total win. The secondary life-loss recursion plan supports grind but lacks self-mill to fill the graveyard consistently. Archangel of Thune is the hidden commander, driving both fair counters and the infinite combo. Betor is single-faced, so only one mode exists.
