Deck overview

This Golgari deck is led by Chatterfang, Squirrel General, a commander that turns every created token into additional 1/1 Squirrel creature tokens while providing on-demand creature removal. The deck accelerates through early mana dorks, fast rituals, and low-cost rocks to cast Chatterfang on Turn 2 or 3. It quickly establishes token-generating engines such as Tireless Provisioner, Warren Soultrader, and Academy Manufactor to flood the board with Squirrels, Treasures, and Foods. Card draw is powered by Skullclamp and Toski, Bearer of Secrets, keeping resources flowing into the midgame. The deck can close games either through an infinite combo with Pitiless Plunderer paired with Bastion of Remembrance or Mirkwood Bats, or by overrunning the table with a massive Squirrel army buffed by Craterhoof Behemoth. It also maintains strong creature suppression through Chatterfang's ability and Dictate of Erebos.
