Deck overview

This Bant Commander deck uses Chulane, Teller of Tales to execute a creature-storm and landfall strategy. The deck ramps on Turns 1 and 2 using dense 1-drop mana creatures, deploying Chulane by Turn 3 or 4. Once the commander enters the battlefield, every creature spell cast draws a card and puts a land onto the battlefield, creating a compounding mana and card engine. The list utilizes bounce creatures such as Shrieking Drake alongside mana engines like Lotus Cobra and Tireless Provisioner to draw deeply into the library. Proactive disruption pieces including Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines, Spider-Woman, Stunning Savior, and Aura Shards dismantle opposing strategies and lock down resource development.
