Bard and Birds

Format: Commander

Commander: Bard the Bowman

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bard the Bowman leads an Azorius tempo and midrange flying deck centered on drawing two cards per turn and building an overwhelming aerial board. The primary game plan deploys evasive Bird and Human creatures, triggers steady card advantage through recruit mechanics and draw spells, and uses Bard's ability to distribute +1/+1 counters and lifelink. Powerful equipment like Caduceus, Staff of Hermes and Mjolnir, Storm Hammer scales up key attackers such as Shrike Force. The deck wins primarily through combat damage, leveraging anthem effects from Kangee, Sky Warden and Kastral, the Windcrested alongside interaction to dismantle opposing boards and outpace enemy life totals.
