Magnus the red polymorph by trashaxxx

Format: Commander

Commander: Magnus the Red

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Magnus the Red leads an Izzet polymorph deck that turns cheap token armies into game-ending monsters. The primary plan is to cast two or three token spells early, drop Magnus, and use his cost reduction to make polymorph and transform effects nearly free. Those effects trade a token for a high-impact creature such as Blightsteel Colossus, Ulamog, or Pathrazer of Ulamog, then finish through combat damage, infect, annihilator triggers, and the occasional extra combat from Bloodthirster. The commander also creates Spawn tokens on combat damage, feeding the engine. A secondary route uses Ovika and Lukka to sustain tokens and card advantage. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built around Magnus, and no infinite combo exists.
