Can we get Bolas's Citadel? No we have Bola's Citadel at home. by GRIEF

Format: Commander

Commander: Gwenom, Remorseless

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This mono-black deck is helmed by Gwenom, Remorseless, a commander whose attack trigger turns the top of your library into an open hand you can cast by paying life instead of mana. The deck is a high-speed, artifact-dense storm/combo list that leverages rituals and fast mana to deploy Gwenom early, then chain through cheap spells to fuel a Tendrils of Agony storm kill, an Aetherflux Reservoir activation, or the Chain of Smog + Professor Onyx infinite drain loop. Doomsday and Demonic Consultation provide compact pile assembly, while an army of zero-mana artifacts boosts artifact count for Mox Opal and Urza's Saga and feeds Grinding Station mill. The primary win condition is storm-based lifetotal drain, with Gray Merchant of Asphodel as a secondary value finisher.
