Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord commands a Grixis midrange deck focused on accumulating Orc Army tokens and leveraging the Ring Tempts You mechanic for sustained card velocity. Sauron serves as both an unyielding engine and a massive threat, amassing tokens whenever opponents cast spells and refilling your hand when Armies connect. The primary game plan controls the board using versatile removal and sweepers while growing a tall Army token, then granting it evasion or trample through utility lands and lord effects to close out the table. Secondary win paths exploit spellslinger burn via Fiery Inscription and burst combat damage from unblockable attackers.
