Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a mono-green stompy and midrange deck helmed by Beorn the Fierce. The plan is classic big-green: ramp hard, flood the board with high-power creatures, then close through combat-most cleanly via Craterhoof Behemoth or a large Finale of Devastation. Beorn the Fierce is a 5-mana value engine who turns any creature into a Bear, pumps other Bears, and draws two cards once you control three Bears, so the deck lightly leans into Bear tribal (Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma, Casal, Lurkwood Pathfinder, The Earth King tokens) while still functioning as pure green goodstuff. Cheats and dump effects-Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant, Norwood Priestess, Oviya, Automech Artisan, Genesis Wave, Natural Order, Protean Hulk-accelerate the board past the high average mana value. Secondary axes include overwhelming card advantage from Greater Good, The Great Henge, and Selvala, Heart of the Wilds, plus recursive pressure from Six, Phytotitan, and Woodfall Primus.
