Deck overview

This Simic deck is an elfball/landfall hybrid built around Thranduil the Strategist. Thranduil turns every other Elf into a mana dork and every land drop into a 1/1 Elf token, so the two halves of the deck feed each other: more Elves means more mana, and more lands means more Elves. The deck accelerates with one-drop dorks and extra-land effects like Exploration, Burgeoning, Azusa, Lost but Seeking, Oracle of Mul Daya, and Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait, then converts the board into a win through the infinite landfall loop - Sakura-Tribe Scout + Retreat to Coralhelm + Simic Growth Chamber - which generates infinite mana and infinite Elves for a Finale of Devastation or Craterhoof Behemoth kill. Backup lines include Natural Order and Tooth and Nail into Craterhoof + Avenger of Zendikar, plus a Scapeshift + Field of the Dead + Ancient Greenwarden zombie swarm.
