Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats deck is commanded by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER // Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel. The strategy focuses on establishing repeatable sacrifice engines and utilizing symmetric edict effects like Fleshbag Marauder and Accursed Marauder to control opposing creature boards. By engineering four creature deaths in a single turn, Sephiroth transforms into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel, granting a permanent, non-interactable Super Nova emblem that drains opponents whenever any creature dies. The deck compounds this attrition through Dictate of Erebos, Tergrid, God of Fright, and Syr Konrad, the Grim, converting board clears into overwhelming card advantage and life swings. While highly resilient against creature-heavy strategies, the list lacks targeted interaction for noncreature permanents and the stack, relying on steady drain and combat pressure to close the game by Turn 7.
