This Esper deck is a cycling control deck that uses Astral Slide, Astral Drift, and Escape Protocol to turn every cycle into removal, blink, and card draw. Fluctuator makes cycling cheap, while payoffs like Archfiend of Ifnir, Drannith Healer, and Flourishing Fox grow or shrink the board. Sharuum the Hegemon acts as repeatable artifact recursion, not a combo piece, returning key artifacts like Solemn Simulacrum or Portal to Phyrexia. Hidden commanders are Astral Slide/Drift and Fluctuator, which the deck tutors with Zur the Enchanter and Mage tutors. Wins come from grinding advantage, clearing boards, and attacking with reanimated threats or zombie tokens from God-Pharaoh's Gift.
