The Second Age of Darkness by cutlerm42

Format: Commander

Commander: Sauron, the Dark Lord

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Sauron, the Dark Lord is the engine rather than the finish line: this deck wants to cast it with a solid mana base, then let ring triggers, amass triggers, and the discard-hand-to-draw-four mode generate card volume and a huge Army. There is no double-faced commander; the hidden finisher is Sauron, Lord of the Rings, a 9/9 that amasses five and rebuys a creature on cast. Secondary paths are Wraiths through Lord of the Nazgul, death-trigger drain effects, and a big Torment of Hailfire. Saruman, the White Hand works as the backup token/size engine when the commander is taxed or unavailable.
