Deck overview

This deck is a four-color (WUBR) Polymorph strategy commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The game plan revolves around generating expendable tokens in the early turns using low-cost enchantments and artifacts, then deploying Jace on Turn 4 to immediately activate his −3 ability. Because the 99 contains no small utility creatures, every Polymorph activation guarantees a game-warping bomb such as Archon of Cruelty, Serra's Emissary, Archfiend of Despair, or The Ur-Sphinx. The deck protects its life total and planeswalker commander through Jace's built-in combat tax, token blockers, and flexible board wipes that double as token creators. Backup Polymorph spells like Proteus Staff and Synthetic Destiny provide resilience if Jace is removed, allowing the deck to maintain steady pressure and close the game through overwhelming combat damage and asymmetric attrition.
