The Spanish Inquisition by DuggyMTG

Format: Commander

Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Edgar Markov turns every Vampire spell into an extra 1/1 token, and this deck exploits that Eminence trigger with a low-curve Mardu Vampire core. The primary plan is a go-wide token army pumped by anthems and Edgar's attack trigger; the secondary path is an infinite life-drain loop using Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose or Enduring Tenacity with Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror. The commander is a value engine in the command zone, not a combo piece; when cast, he supplies haste, first strike, and a board-wide pump. There is no double-faced commander or hidden commander, so this is a single-faced Edgar Markov build. Winning usually comes from chip damage, a sudden loop, or a double combat with All-Out Assault.
