Deck overview

Lightning, Army of One leads a classic Boros equipment voltron shell. The primary plan is to suit Lightning with cheap equipment, connect once to set up its Stagger damage-doubler, then leverage double strike and extra combat spells to close with 21 commander damage. Secondary lines use Aurelia, Gisela, and Fiendish Duo as alternate beaters/damage doublers, while Sram, Puresteel Paladin, and Mask of Memory keep the hand full. Bruenor Battlehammer and Danitha Capashen reduce equip costs, and Lightning Greaves/Swiftfoot Boots provide haste and protection. The deck is aggressive, fast, and threat-dense, but fragile to artifact hate and board wipes.
