Deck overview

This Azorius deck is commanded by Denzilore Fatehold, an evasive Sphinx that places a +1/+1 counter on every creature you control whenever you scry or surveil. The deck blends cheap evasive creatures, token generators, and planeswalker support via the Empower Jace mechanic to build an assertive aerial army. Early turns focus on deploying low-cost utility creatures such as Kid Loki and Dusk Legion Duelist, alongside repeatable scry and surveil engines like Eye of Jace and Campus Crier. Once Denzilore enters the battlefield, typically at instant speed using flash on turn 4, subsequent card filtering triggers compound rapidly into massive team-wide power increases. Defensive interaction like Ripples of Potential and Take Up the Shield shields the board from opposing removal, while soft stax elements like Thalia, the Survivor slow down enemy development. The deck wins by launching decisive, evasive combat strikes to close out games across multiple combat steps.
