Fighting by Ryumav

Format: Commander

Commander: Wolverine, Best There Is

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Gruul +1/+1 counter and fight/burn deck helmed by Wolverine, Best There Is, who doubles all damage he deals and grows into a monster with each successful hit. The core plan is to ramp out mana dorks, cast Wolverine, then supercharge him (and other creatures) with counter-doubling effects like Bristly Bill, Spine Sower, Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, and Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider. The deck then converts that raw power into table-wide damage through Chandra's Ignition, fight spells, and combat amplified by damage doublers (Absorbing Man and Titania, Twinflame Tyrant, Mjolnir, Hammer of Thor, Unnatural Growth, Xenagos, God of Revels) plus extra combat steps from Seize the Day and Anzrag, the Quake-Mole. Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar spreads commander damage to the whole pod. It is a straightforward, redundant midrange beatdown deck with no infinite combos.
