Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk is a Boros Dwarf/artifact-token deck that converts every Dwarf enter into Treasure and every artifact token into pump. The commander is a one-sided anthem and mana engine; the real finishing layers are Equipment-based commander damage and the Aggravated Assault/Reaver Cleaver repeated-combat loop. Secondary plans include Dragon payoffs and Dwarf-tribal beatdown. There is no hidden commander or double-faced commander; Magda, Brazen Outlaw is a powerful engine/tutor in the 99 rather than a backup general. The deck plays as turbo-midrange: build Treasure, fetch the right Equipment, then kill one or all players through double strike or infinite combat.
