WitchKing

Format: Commander

Commander: Witch-king of Angmar

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a mono-black aristocrats-reanimator midrange deck helmed by Witch-king of Angmar. The plan layers sacrifice outlets and death triggers (Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, Bastion of Remembrance, Dictate of Erebos) with a dense reanimation suite to cheat in high-impact threats like Archon of Cruelty, Kokusho, the Evening Star, Grave Titan, and the Sheoldreds. A light Ring-tempts package (Nazgul, Call of the Ring, Sauron, the Necromancer) grows Wraiths and generates incremental value, while Cabal Coffers/Crypt Ghast fuel finishing drains via Gray Merchant of Asphodel and Exsanguinate. The clean combo finish is Mikaeus, the Unhallowed + Triskelion. Witch-king of Angmar supplies a flying body, combat-damage edicts, Ring temptation, and a discard-based indestructible shield, but the 99's aristocrats and reanimation lines function without him.
