thranduil, the elvenking by user7866512

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking turns the graveyard into a second hand: every milled Elf contributes its activated abilities to him. The deck ramps with one-mana dorks, then fills the bin with Entomb, Buried Alive, and Trystan's self-mill so Thranduil becomes a mana, token, and utility engine. The primary finish is infinite green mana through Devoted Druid copied by Machine God's Effigy or through Elf dorks plus Staff of Domination; Staff then draws the library and Lathril's ten-elf activation drains the table. Ezuri and Haldir are overrun backups, while Reanimate and Lively Dirge rebuild the board. The DFC Trystan is used mainly for its front-face milling; its back face adds an optional drain.
