Deck overview

This deck leverages Norin the Wary as a recurring trigger engine. Because Norin exiles itself whenever any player casts a spell or attacks and returns at every end step, it triggers 'creature entering' abilities up to four times per turn cycle. The deck converts these triggers into direct damage using redundant pingers like Impact Tremors, Agate Instigator, Purphoros, God of the Forge, and Molten Gatekeeper. It multiplies damage through token producers like Genesis Chamber and damage scalers like Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might. Fast mana rocks accelerate setup while Blood Moon and Winter Moon slow down opposing mana bases. Confusion in the Ranks provides soft lockouts by trading Norin for opposing threats before Norin flickers back to its owner. In addition to damage attrition, the deck features an infinite backup combo in Dualcaster Mage and Molten Duplication to finish games without relying on the combat step.
