Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis Combo-Reanimator strategy that uses the graveyard as an extended hand to deploy overwhelming threats and assemble a game-ending combo. Its primary plan accelerates mana in the early turns, bins high-impact creatures through cards like Buried Alive, Faithless Looting, and Vile Entomber, and reanimates them using cheap spells like Victimize, Reanimate, and Animate Dead. The core win condition pairs Mikaeus, the Unhallowed with Triskelion to deal infinite direct damage to all opponents in a single turn without needing combat. If the combo is delayed, the deck seamlessly transitions into an oppressive control engine by reanimating devastating legendary creatures such as Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Archon of Cruelty, and Valgavoth, Terror Eater, which strip opposing resources and generate massive card advantage. Sauron, Lord of the Rings serves as an 8-mana late-game anchor that provides army creation, self-mill, and reanimation on cast.
