Long Sips of Tea by the Cauldron ( 2 ) by decktesting

Format: Commander

Commander: Dina, Essence Brewer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari "big power" sacrifice/lifegain deck piloted by Dina, Essence Brewer. The plan is to ramp early, deploy oversized creatures, and then treat them as disposable resources: Dina, Essence Brewer sacrifices them for life, cards, and +1/+1 counters, while Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, and Defiling Daemogoth convert that life gain into table-wide damage. A compact burst kill using Wall of Blood with Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord or Dina, Essence Brewer and a drain payoff can close out a game, while the backup plan is combat pressure from Yargle and Multani, Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Vaultborn Tyrant, and The Gitrog, Ravenous Ride. Recursion from Six, Cauldron of Essence, Moseo, Vein's New Dean, and Victimize keeps the engine running through wipes.
