Deathly Dorks by user4045580

Format: Commander

Commander: Tyvar the Bellicose

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Tyvar the Bellicose leads a Golgari Elfball that turns mana dorks into growing threats. The primary plan is to flood the board with Elves, use Tyvar's triggered ability to pile +1/+1 counters on every creature that taps for mana, and finish with an overrun effect such as Tyvar, the Pummeler or Unnatural Growth. Secondary paths include token generation with Doubling Season and Lys Alana Huntmaster, life-drain from Lathril and Shaman of the Pack, and an infinite-mana loop with Devoted Druid. The hidden commander is Tyvar, the Pummeler, the main outlet that converts a wide board or infinite mana into lethal power. The deck is fast but linear, and it relies on keeping Tyvar the Bellicose on the battlefield.
