Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis midrange deck piloted by Edward Kenway, blending Pirate tribal synergies with Vehicles and Treasure payoffs. The primary game plan deploys aggressive low-cost Pirates and Vehicles in the opening turns, lands the commander on turn 5, and turns tapped attackers into a surge of Treasure tokens on each end step. These accumulated resources enable devastating mid-to-late game swings through board wipes like Kindred Dominance, creature-theft chains via Coercive Recruiter, or alternative win conditions such as Revel in Riches. While the list features resilient recursion and solid burst card advantage off Vehicle hits, it remains reliant on combat steps and fair permanent deployment, leaving it vulnerable to repeated sweepers and fast combo decks.
