Deck overview

This deck leverages Fire Lord Azula to convert combat steps into explosive spellslinging turns. Azula provides two free red mana upon attacking and duplicates every spell cast while she is attacking. The deck capitalizes on this ability by copying cheap pump spells, flash auras, and card-draw cantrips to rapidly scale Azula's power for commander damage knockouts. Cheap instant protection like Shore Up and Eel Umbra defends Azula from targeted removal, while magecraft engines like Archmage Emeritus and Guttersnipe generate card advantage and incidental burn across the table. Because the strategy focuses on single-target combat elimination, it operates on a predictable clock that finishes opponents sequentially.
