Thranduil land 1 by user6439144

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, Sindarin Liege // Silvan Rally

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Thranduil, Sindarin Liege is a Simic landfall-value engine wrapped in an Elf-tribal shell: every land that enters makes a 1/1 Elf token, the commander pumps the rest of the swarm, and his Silvan Rally adventure mills four to put two lands into hand. The deck is built to chain landfall triggers - seven fetchlands, Springbloom Druid, Wood Elves, Through the Forest Gate, and the Storm Cauldron land-bounce loop - turning ramp into wide boards and enough mana to hard-cast bombs like Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger and Emrakul, the Promised End. The primary finish is a creature-search overrun package: Craterhoof Behemoth backed by Ezuri, Renegade Leader and Leaf-Crowned Visionary, Defense of the Heart cheating in two monsters, and pod lines through Prime Speaker Vannifar and Fauna Shaman. It is a midrange value deck with a deep tutor spine rather than a fast combo deck.
