Raffine Reanimator by burn-man

Format: Commander

Commander: Raffine, Scheming Seer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Raffine, Scheming Seer is the draw-discard engine of a non-combo Esper reanimator. The deck attacks early to connive fat creatures into the graveyard, then uses Reanimate, Animate Dead, Necromancy, and mass effects like Living Death to return them. Big flyers such as Archon of Cruelty, Dream Trawler, and Grave Titan close the game over several combat waves, while Raffine and a suite of looters keep the graveyard stocked. There is no hidden second commander face; the deck is built around the Raffine trigger. Although it packs interaction, it lacks fast mana and tutors, so it is a mid-speed value deck rather than a combo deck.
