Tannuk, Steadfast Second pilots a high-velocity Big Red stompy strategy centered on cheating massive Dragon threats into play using the warp mechanic. By granting other creatures haste and giving artifact and red creature cards warp {2}{R}, Tannuk lets you deploy 6-to-9 mana bombs well ahead of curve on Turn 4 or 5. Although warped permanents exile at the end step, Tannuk allows them to be cast from exile on later turns, while synergy pieces like Sundial of the Infinite and Conjurer's Closet bypass the exile trigger entirely to keep them permanently. The deck overwhelms opponents with explosive aerial combat, trigger damage from Terror of the Peaks and Warstorm Surge, and extra combat phases from Karlach, Fury of Avernus and Scourge of the Throne. The strategy suffers against instant-speed removal targeting Tannuk before combat and lacks mass sweeper protection, but its sheer threat redundancy and alternative cheat engines ensure fast, punishing combat pressure.
