Deck overview

This deck is a Boros Equipment aggro strategy helmed by Nahiri, Forged in Fury. Nahiri reduces her own mana cost via Affinity for Equipment and provides an aggressive card-advantage engine by exiling cards whenever equipped creatures attack, casting hit Equipment for free. The deck utilizes 'Living Weapon' and 'For Mirrodin!' permanents to provide innate creature bodies attached to Equipment, preventing the classic voltron bottleneck of running out of threats. High-potency payoffs like Colossus Hammer, Kaldra Compleat, and Nettlecyst turn modest tokens into lethal attackers, supported by equip-cost reducers like Puresteel Paladin and Sigarda's Aid. However, the deck currently suffers from an incomplete mana base with only 16 lands, which frequently stalls development on early turns and delays operational assembly until Turn 6.
