Thranduil's Elves

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Sultai Elf deck is built around Thranduil, the Elvenking, who copies activated abilities from Elves in the graveyard. The primary plan is to self-mill Elves such as Woodland Weavemaster and Guardian of the Halls, turning Thranduil into a massive mana dork and pump engine, then finish with commander damage enabled by Badgermole trample. Secondary paths include landfall token generation from Thranduil's Company and Tatyova, Benthic Druid, plus a grindy recursion package. The commander is the linchpin; without him, the deck still has Elf beatdown and landfall value, but loses its explosive ceiling. Interaction is solid with counters and removal, but speed is moderate.
