Deck overview

This competitive Commander deck uses K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth to turn life totals into an aggressive mana resource. By converting black mana costs into Phyrexian life payments, the deck accelerates past normal curve constraints and casts high-impact enablers on the earliest turns. Fast artifact mana, rituals, and unconditional tutors allow the deck to assemble compact graveyard or storm packages quickly. The primary route uses Buried Alive to tutor Necrotic Ooze, Asmodeus the Archfiend, and Skirge Familiar into the graveyard. When Necrotic Ooze is reanimated, it gains Asmodeus's draw ability without its drawback and Skirge Familiar's discard outlet, drawing the entire library and generating infinite mana to finish with Aetherflux Reservoir. Alternate lines include Peer into the Abyss, Bolas's Citadel with Sensei's Divining Top, and Chainer, Dementia Master loops with Gray Merchant of Asphodel.
