Deck overview

This mono-red Commander deck is piloted by Lathliss, Dragon Queen, focusing on ramping into large Dragon threats, generating massive 5/5 flying Dragon tokens, and overwhelming opponents through aerial combat and damage triggers. Supported by cost reducers such as Dragonlord's Servant and Dragonspeaker Shaman, the deck aims to cast Lathliss on turn 4 or 5 and trigger her ability on turn 5 by casting follow-up Dragons. A critical onset forms on turn 6, presenting a board of 15 to 20 flying power that demands immediate answers. Because it relies purely on combat damage without infinite combos, it requires three response cycles to eliminate a full 120-life table, closing the game around turn 9. While the strategy boasts strong independent backup threats in Utvara Hellkite and Drakuseth, Maw of Flames, it suffers from heavy reliance on expensive permanents, prolonged exposure to sweepers, and minimal reactive protection.
