Deck overview

This mono-black Aristocrats deck is commanded by Fain, the Broker, using modular counter and token manipulation to generate steady resource velocity. The deck aims to establish early sacrifice outlets, deploy resilient fodder such as Gravecrawler and Reassembling Skeleton, and convert death triggers into cards and mana. As the board develops, engines like Pitiless Plunderer and Skullclamp create overwhelming card flow and Treasure generation. The primary win condition revolves around table-wide life drain using cards such as Mirkwood Bats, Bastion of Remembrance, Marionette Apprentice, and Zulaport Cutthroat. While vulnerable to targeted graveyard hate and mass removal, the deck features deep functional redundancy and continuous recursion through Phyrexian Reclamation and Vat of Rebirth, allowing it to grind down opposing life totals and execute decisive multi-card drain loops.
