Deck overview

This deck is an explosive Izzet Spellslinger Storm and combo list commanded by Vivi Ornitier. The primary game plan revolves around enchanting Vivi with a damage-triggered draw aura like Curiosity, Ophidian Eye, or pairing it with Tandem Lookout. Because Vivi deals 1 damage to each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell, each low-cost spell or ritual draws three fresh cards. This engine rapidly chains through the library while Vivi accumulates power and burns the table to zero life. The deck features potent mana acceleration through fast artifacts, cost-reducers like Baral, Chief of Compliance and Stormcatch Mentor, and red rituals. Functional redundancy is exceptionally high, backed by secondary win conditions including Niv-Mizzet, Parun, Isochron Scepter with Dramatic Reversal, and Underworld Breach lines with Brain Freeze. A comprehensive interaction suite of efficient counterspells and Deflecting Swat protects the storm turn while disrupting opponents, enabling consistent, decisive victories.
