Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is built around Smaug, Wicked Worm, blending high-impact Dragon tribal stompy with scalable Treasure generation and card draw. The deck accelerates through early cost-reducers and mana rocks like Dragonlord's Servant, Dragonspeaker Shaman, and Arcane Signet to deploy Smaug, Wicked Worm on Turn 4. Smaug capitalizes on opponents' artifacts by generating a burst of tapped Treasures, which subsequently fuel spell-casting into continuous card draw. The mid-game transitions into overwhelming aerial pressure through heavy Dragon payoffs such as Lathliss, Dragon Queen, Utvara Hellkite, Scourge of Valkas, and Dragon Tempest, dealing massive direct damage on entry and snowballing across combat phases. The deck features a potent two-card infinite creature combo between Ganax, Astral Hunter and Draconic Visitor, which creates endless 5/5 Dragon tokens. While the deck possesses explosive ramp, massive evasive bodies, and strong creature board wipes, it remains vulnerable to sweepers, stack interaction, and enchantment-based disruption.
