Deck overview

This Orzhov deck leverages Minthara, Merciless Soul to turn a swarm of cheap tokens into a lethal combat force while taxing opponents and draining life totals through aristocrats synergies. The primary strategy establishes early token generators like Bitterblossom, Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, and Ocelot Pride alongside sacrifice outlets and mana ramp. Casting Minthara on Turn 4 initiates consistent experience counter accumulation whenever permanents leave the battlefield. These counters are permanent and cannot be removed, providing Minthara with scaling ward protection and granting your entire creature board a massive power buff. By Turn 6, small tokens hit for 4 to 6 power each, supported by token doublers like Mondrak, Glory Dominus and Anointed Procession. Life-drain engines such as Mirkwood Bats and Marionette Apprentice provide reach and alternate pressure against defensive boards. Efficient Orzhov exile removal keeps key opposing threats in check while the token army overwhelms all three opponents across successive attack phases.
