Deck overview

This Jund deck pairs Abby, Merciless Soldier and Ellie, Vengeful Hunter to drive a resilient Aristocrats engine centered on cast-triggered token generation, sacrifice burn, and asymmetrical creature attrition. Abby provides an instant burst of 1/1 Cordyceps Infected tokens on cast, while Ellie acts as a zero-mana sacrifice outlet in the command zone that converts token fodder and 2 life into targeted damage while granting herself indestructible. The deck accelerates through early mana dorks, land synergies, and token-mana engines like Jaheira, Friend of the Forest and Ashnod's Altar. Once assembled, it layers drain effects such as Bastion of Remembrance, Mirkwood Bats, and Mayhem Devil with crushing board control from Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos. Control-switching tools like Homeward Path and Alicia Masters, Skilled Sculptor reclaim Abby to negate the donation drawback. The deck closes games around Turn 8 through steady burn, attrition locks, and scaling token swarms.
