Villains by goobs

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Octopus, Master Planner

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Doctor Octopus, Master Planner is a Dimir Villain-tribal value engine: his +2/+2 anthem and end-step refill turn a board of small Villains into a resilient midrange army. The deck's primary path is to deploy the commander, then use connive and graveyard recursion to keep every turn at maximum hand size while attacking with evasive, boosted Villains. Secondary paths include Mysterio token bursts, a Hullbreaker Horror + Sol Ring mana loop finished by Exsanguinate, and grindy control elements. The commander is a draw engine, not a combo piece; both Doc Ock legendary variants in the 99 act as hidden commanders that supply the high-impact bodies. Interaction is plentiful but almost all is non-free and permanent-based.
