Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet artifact midrange strategy centered around generating artifact tokens, stacking +1/+1 counters, and converting board presence into explosive combat steps. In the early game, the deck accelerates its mana using cost reducers such as Etherium Sculptor and efficient mana rocks. It establishes recurring token engines with cards like Sai, Master Thopterist, Pinnacle Emissary, and Efficient Construction. As the board develops, engines like Jhoira, Weatherlight Captain and Technodrome replenish the hand, while Steel Overseer and Baxter Stockman enlarge the robotic army. The commander, Metalhead, serves as both a versatile tempo bounce piece on entry and a dangerous combat threat that sacrifices expendable tokens for counters, menace, and haste. The deck wins by overwhelming opponents through wide evasive combat damage from flying Thopters or tall, unblockable attackers like Kappa Cannoneer.
