Commander: Gandalf, Party Guest

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Wizard-tribal spell-slinger deck built around Gandalf, Party Guest, who grants free instant and sorcery casts at combat, scaled by the number of legendary Wizards on the battlefield. The primary plan is to develop a board of legendary Wizards, use Gandalf to dump high-mana draw spells such as Recurring Insight and Aminatou's Augury, then convert that card advantage into either a Niv-Mizzet, Parun ping-draw machine, a burst of extra turns with Time Stretch and Surge to Victory, or an overwhelming token/anthem attack from Talrand, Kykar, and Storm Herd. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built to maximize Gandalf's trigger. Secondary paths rely on Glamdring to free-cast on damage and The Emperor/The Lord Master of Hell's attack trigger.
